the moments that sit quietly, buried beneath layers of time.

There are moments from our childhood that stay tucked away… moments we rarely speak about, but somehow, they still linger. They sit quietly beneath the surface, shaping the way we love, the way we trust, the way we protect ourselves.
Sometimes we don’t even realise how much those moments still hold power over us. Until one day, we’re triggered. We react. We feel that familiar sting. And suddenly, it all comes rushing back.
So today, I want to invite you to sit with this question…
What is one moment from your childhood you’ve never truly spoken about, but still think about?
The memory that still visits you when it’s quiet. The one that left an ache you’ve never quite been able to explain. The moment that shaped how safe or unsafe you felt in the world.
Write about it. Let it rise. Feel what needs to be felt. Not to stay stuck there, but to begin understanding the parts of you still holding on.
Because awareness is where the healing begins.
