Imagine going back to spend a day with your younger self.
What would you do with her?
What would you say to her?
How would you show up for her?
What does she need from you?
And then when you have the answers, allow yourself to do those things for her. Do them for her as the adult version of yourself now because she still needs you. She still needs your strength, love, kindness. She still needs you.
If I could go back to spend a day with my younger self, I would hold her and tell her that she is worthy of life and love, and I'd tell her that it gets better, because my god, it got so much better.
15-year-old Shorina would have never thought she would have a life like this. Hell, she didn't think she would even be alive at 29 years old, let alone have a life filled with love, light and joy.
You have the ability to speak to your younger self now too. You can connect to them, send them love and offer them a way to heal too.
I love to do this in a few ways:
💖 visualising sitting with my teenage self and speaking to her with love
💖 writing letters to my teenage self
💖 looking into the mirror and speaking with the intent of reaching her
There is something really, really powerful about connecting to your younger self and offering her the safe space that she may not have had and this is something I guide most of my clients through as well!
With love & support,
